EMDG (Export Market Development Grant) Applications MUST be lodged by 30 November 2011. The legislation does not allow late lodgements under any circumstances.
The EMDG program is funded by the Federal Government, and has been assisting Australian exporters for over 36 years.
It is non competitive, and provides up to $150,000 per annum through a rebate for up to half of eligible expenses paid in the following categories;
- Overseas representatives
- Marketing Consultants
- Overseas Marketing Visits ( travel)
- Communication
- Product Promotion ( free samples)
- Trade Fairs
- Promotional Literature and advertising (including websites and Google adwords)
- Protection of Intellectual Property
- Overseas buyers visiting Australia
Eligibility for a grant is available to Australian companies across a wide range of industries and services, including ICT, tourism, manufacturing, professional services, agriculture, mining services, education.
The program is documentation based – act now to ensure you lodge a quality application before 30 November.
