Bill Colmer - Adelaide Office

Bill Colmer merged his business of Complete Export Grant Services Pty Ltd with Export Solutions in June 2005. He is an experienced EMDG consultant with over 25 years experience in the field. He acts as a consultant to the firm on a part-time but ongoing basis.

Felicity has experience in both the private and public industry sectors, including advising Victorian businesses on export issues. This background, together with her systematic approach to meeting deadlines, benefits our Victorian clients as we assist them pursue their international business growth.

Gemma joined Export Solutions in 2001, after working in project management and survey development for the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Coupling this experience with her Bachelor of Business and Associate Diploma in Marketing, has given her a keen understanding of Government thinking and how best to match this against the needs of the private sector. Gemma is also a gifted public speaker, whose insights at various gatherings of exporters and emerging businesses are always refreshing.

Lina's strong small business administration and finance experience, a Commerce degree, and an interest in different cultures and languages are invaluable in assisting our Victorian clients with EMDG grant applications and participation at international trade fairs.

Magda has strong career experience in services to exporters, having worked in both Europe and Australia. Her wide experience in logistics, including assisting major multinational clients, means Magda truly understands the challenges and opportunities our clients have in the international arena.

Magda's qualifications include a Diploma in International Trade.

Melinda is an integral part of our Brisbane team processing EMDG applications to ensure that each of our clients, from a wide range of industries and professions, receive the maximum grant.

Micheal has a great depth of knowledge in logistics, including dealing with the many issues facing Australian companies exporting around the world. Micheal’s experience, together with his meticulous approach to documentation, is of great value to our clients.

Nancy is well versed on maintaining a systematic and structured approach and excels in building rapport with customers. She has worked in both SME and large enterprises, in roles requiring exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Now she translates this skill to the requirements of our clients’ EMDG claims.

Penny's career spans a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, banking, finance and the professional services industry. This broad business exposure is valuable in her work in our Brisbane office assisting with EMDG applications. Penny holds a Graduate Diploma of Human Resources.

Peter has been with Export Solutions since the establishment of the Adelaide office and is responsible for processing a large volume of EMDG claims. His IT background with one of Australia’s largest telecommunications businesses and his experience with a well established Australian exporter, has benefited clients as he can anticipate the problems, routinely solving them through his understanding of the procedures and processes.

Phil joined Export Solutions in mid 2005, after many years experience in energy, consumer appliances, both with multinationals and more recently, his own successful business. Phil understands the needs and challenges of small business. He has a long time interest in the area of overseas trade and export, and has a double Diploma in Business Management (Marketing) and Export Management.

Philip links the company's three main areas of focus being EMDG, Commercial Ready and Business Matching. He brings a wealth of experience and understanding to the workings of the intersection between the government and the private sector. It is a delicate balance and his strategic knowledge and practical skills bring a fresh and an immeasurable quality to the complex business of both export growth and commercialisation of new business ideas.

Simon heads up our research, development and commercialisation grants services across Australia. He brings a broad range of experience to Export Solutions with a Bachelor of Science in both accounting and agriculture. Simon has worked with the Western Australian Department of Agriculture and CSIRO and also held the Chief Financial Officer position with private sector companies in mining and capital goods. He is a hands-on specialist with significant success in government grant applications.

Simon assists clients seeking both Export Market Development and R&D grants.

Stuart is a Chartered Accountant and heads up our Adelaide office. With over 25 years export consulting experience, his prior credentials include being the State Manager for Austrade Grants in South Australia and Northern Territory with overall responsibility for their EMDG schemes. He is a national board member of the Australian Institute of Export, and the representative of the Export Consultants Association for South Australia and Northern Territory. He is the past Chairman of Arab Chamber of Commerce (South Australia) and Australian Institute of Export (South Australia).

Sue is an experienced administrator in the Arts sector and works with us with a focus on new and emerging export industries in the performing arts and services sector. Sue is a qualified accountant.

Terry has a solid and comprehensive career history and skills base in customer service, small business, and dealing with government. His role as Grants Advisor to our Queensland clients utilises these wide ranging skills to maximise their grant funding.

Wayne's solid experience in sales and export has included key roles as an International Shipping Officer for a number of prominent players in the wine, medical and electronics sectors. A member of the Australian Institute of Export and the Exporters' Club, his 'customercentric' approach and expertise in the industry gives Export Solutions’ clients access to a wealth of understanding of their needs and the pitfalls that they encounter.
