If you export or intend to export a product or service, Export Solutions can assist you. We have more than 20 years experience and help over 350 companies each year access their share of more than $200 million in Federal EMDG funding for 08/09. Plus, we work on a “no grant, no fee” basis.

EMDG is a non-competitive grant program that reimburses you part of the monies you have spent developing an export market for your products and services.

Eligibility Quick Checklist
1 Do you have or are you applying for an Australian Business Number (ABN)?
2 Is the annual turnover of this business A$50 million or less?
3 Are you exporting or intending to export goods or your services, or earn come from foreign tourists or overseas students?
4 Will your business be the ‘Principal’ in the export transaction?
5 Is your product or service Australian made or designed? (Overseas manufacture does not automatically exclude you)

If you spent more than $10,000 each year (or over 2 years if you have not claimed before) then you should be considering applying for a grant – you could receive a reimbursement of half your eligible expenses above that threshold.

If your current spend is below the threshold then consider whether you could form a joint venture with other businesses in your geographic area, or with other businesses in your industry or vertically integrated businesses? A joint venture can be a path into EMDG.

Grants must be lodged by 30 November each year. Export Solutions provides a complete EMDG service starting with eligibility assessment through to assistance at Austrade audits.
