The Western Australian Industry and Export Awards were held on the 28 October 2016 at The Crown, Burswood.
Export Solutions were one of the sponsors of the awards, and were there for the presentations to winners in 17 categories. Winners included Scitech, Waru Projects Pty Ltd (Kirrikin), In-Balance, Blue Ocean Monitoring, acQuire Technology Solutions Pty Ltd and more.
Minister for Small Business Sean L’Estrange MLA, represented the State at the awards, presenting the Health & Biotechnology Export Award to Proteomics International and welcomed Mr David Prance, Business Director Trimble Mining, into the Hall of Fame.
Commerce Minister Michael Mischin acknowledged that the WA Industry and Export Awards 2016 highlighted the outstanding success of WA businesses and ensured they received recognition for their achievements.
“This year’s award winners have made a tremendous contribution towards the State’s growth and economic diversity and it’s important to acknowledge their participation in global markets,” he said.
The Western Australian award winners became automatic finalists in the national export awards.
