In our last news items ( 23 May 2022) we reported that Austrade had announced the opening and close dates for applications in the next round of EMDG funding.

Austrade have now advised that the opening dates are on hold so they can brief the new government.  No indication of new time frames have been given at this stage.

When it does re-open it is highly likely it will be for a short period of time only so watch this space for further news.

Note that this “pause” only affects applicants looking to lodge an application for expenses beginning 01/07/22.   It should not affect applicants that applied for multi-year grants in last year’s round, ie those applicants that have already received grant agreements or have grant agreements pending.
